2025 King Fahd University Scholarship Details:

KFUPM provides full MS and PhD King Fahd University Scholarships for distinguished graduate applicants who demonstrate high potential for conducting original research in the fields of Engineering, Sciences, and Business.

The King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals institution is known for its globally competitive graduates, cutting edge research, and leadership in energy fields. The University makes a difference within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and beyond in the fields of sciences, engineering and business.

The University currently offers 30 Master programs and 10 Doctoral programs in a full range of traditional disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary programs that anticipate market trends and respond to national needs.

2025 King Fahd University Scholarship Requirements:

To be considered for the 2025 King Fahd University Scholarship, you must satisfy the following criteria:For MS Programs

·        

o   A four-year Bachelor’s (B.S.) Degree in engineering or science from a recognized institution with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.

o   A Grade-Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Scholarship Applicants ) or 2.50 or higher on a scale of 4.00 or equivalent (For Non-Scholarship Applicants).

o   Completion of TOEFL with a minimum score of 520 (PBT), 190 (CBT) or 70 (IBT).

o   Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant university-level courses. [to be submitted through the online recommendation system]

o   Satisfactorily meeting any additional departmental or university admission requirements.

Additional For MS Programs in Bussiness Administration

·       Completion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT ) with a minimum score of 450. 

·       Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant undergraduate courses.

·       At least one course in college-level calculus which covers both differentiation and integration subjects.

·       A working knowledge of computers as evidenced by at least one course in that area (e.g. data processing, programming, information systems, etc.)

·       At least three years of full-time work experience. This requirement may be waived for graduate assistants, research assistants, and applicants with exceptional academic records. 

Additional For PhD Programs

·       An M.S. degree in engineering or science from an institution whose graduate programs are equivalent to those of (KFUPM), with a major in the proposed field or evidence of suitable background for entering the proposed field.

·       Two letters of recommendation, preferably from the faculty who taught the applicant graduate courses.

o   free medical care.
