University of Warwick Chancellors International Scholarship
Details:
For 2025/26 entry, the University of Warwick is expected to allocate up
to £5 million in Chancellors International Scholarships. There will be up to 42
Chancellor’s International Scholarships available to be awarded to the most
outstanding International PhD applicants.
Warwick’s
Chancellors International Scholarships are awarded to the best international
postgraduate researchers, who make invaluable contributions to our vibrant
global community of world leading researchers” Baroness Catherine Ashton,
University of Warwick Chancellor.
The scholarships are
fully funded; interested and qualified candidates should embrace this
opportunity and apply as soon as possible.
Eligibility Requirements for University of Warwick
Chancellors Scholarship
To be considered for
the University of Warwick Chancellors Scholarship, you must:

Apply for a PhD at the University of Warwick to begin in October 2025;
·
Be assessed as ‘overseas’ for fees purposes. There are no other
nationality criteria;
·
Be from any discipline at Warwick.
Scholarships cannot
be deferred to the next academic year.
Benefits of University of Warwick Chancellors International Scholarship
Awards made for
entry in Autumn 2025 will include the following:
·
The full payment of tuition fees
·
A maintenance stipend paid at the prevailing UKRI rate (£19,795 per year) for 3.5
years
·
A Research, Training and Supporting Grant (RTSG) of £5,000.
·
For eligible scholars, the opportunity to apply for financial support
towards the cost of immigration to the UK.
How to Apply for University of Warwick Chancellors
International Scholarship 2025 (Step by Step)
To apply for the University of Warwick
Chancellors International Scholarship, interested candidates should;
1. Read the Applicant Guidance Notes and PGR Ranking Criteria
2. Submit your course
application and upload supporting documents.
3. Receive an automated
e-mail with a 7 digit applicant ID number. Please allow at least 48
hours for this to arrive.
4. Register your ITS
applicant account. Please note that the Doctoral
College cannot help with issuing of ID numbers.
5. Submit your
scholarship application by the application deadline (now
Closed). We regret being unable to accept late applications for any reason.

communicated by email by the start of March 2025.
