KAIST University Graduate Scholarship Details:

The KAIST University Graduate Scholarship offers a wide array of academic programs and majors for international students interested in pursuing Master’s or PhD degrees at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, University.

The KAIST Scholarship encompasses all necessary expenses for the duration of your degree program. The Master’s program scholarship lasts for 2 years, while the PhD program scholarship extends to 4 years, tailored to the specific degree requirements.

2025 KAIST Scholarship Requirements:

The requirements for the KAIST Scholarship are as follows;

·       All international students not holding Korean nationality are eligible to apply.

·       For the master’s degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2025.

·       For the doctoral degree program, A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or expected to receive it by August 31st, 2025.

·       Final-year Undergraduate students can also apply if they expect to graduate before September 2025.

KAIST University Graduate Scholarship Duration and Reward

·       Total Tuition Fee Exemption for 4 semesters for Master’s degree candidates, 10 for Master’s-Ph.D. integrated degree candidates and 8 for Ph.D. degree candidates.

·       Monthly Stipend (Up to 2,500,000 KRW): Students will cover the cost of Accommodation and other Expenses from the Stipend.

·       National Health Insurance Premium

·       Opportunity to engage in part-time jobs for additional income. fun,  and time passes.

·       Citizens of the English native speaking countries or officially English speaking countries are exempt from the English Proficiency Test.
