Fully Funded 2025 Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year is now open for international students. This fully funded scholarship offers a unique opportunity to study at leading universities in Brunei, covering all expenses including tuition, accommodation, airfare, visa, meals, books, and living stipends.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Age Limit:
• Max 25 years for Diploma and Undergraduate programs.
• Max 35 years for Master’s programs.
• English Proficiency:
• GCE ‘O’ Level Credit 6 or higher.
• IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL score of 550.

Note: The scholarship is exclusively for first-time international students. Bruneians, permanent residents, and international students already studying in Brunei are not eligible.

Scholarship Duration:

• Diploma: 2.5–3 years
• Bachelor’s: 4 years
• Master’s: 1–2 years
• PhD: 3 years

Required Documents:

• Passport-size photo
• Certified copies of academic qualifications and transcripts
• Certified English translations (if applicable)
• Certified copies of Birth Certificate and Passport
• References and recommendations

Application Process:

1. Fill out the online application form:

3. For UBD and UTB applicants, additional university-specific applications must be completed:
