University of Rwanda is pleased to invite applications for merit-based scholarships for its highly competitive programs:

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
• Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Physical Education and Sports

Scholarship Benefits:

• Full or partial tuition coverage (awarded based on academic excellence).
• Priority access to university resources and mentorship programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements for their chosen program (details on UR Website).
2. Open to national, EAC, and international students.
3. Demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, or extracurricular achievements.

How to Apply for the Scholarship:

1. Submit your program application through the UR online portal between 17th–30th March 2025:
• Visit UR Admissions Portal and follow the guidelines.
• Application fee: RWF 5,000 (Rwandan/EAC) / RWF 6,000 (international).
• Select ONE program only (MBChB, DDS, or Education).
2. Scholarship consideration is automatic for all eligible applicants. No separate form required.
3. Ensure all supporting documents (academic certificates, ID/passport, equivalence certificates for international applicants) are uploaded.

Key Deadlines:

• Application & scholarship submission: 30th March 2025 (strictly enforced).
• Results announced: Check UR website by June 2025.

Campuses:

• MBChB & DDS: College of Medicine & Health Sciences (CMHS), Huye Campus.
• Education: College of Education (CE), Remera Campus.

Payment Methods:
Use your unique reference number to pay via:

• Bank of Kigali (BK) counters.
• MTN Mobile Money (7755#).
• BK App/Online payment (Urubuto System).
