In 2025, Indonesia's Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, in partnership with 31 universities, will offer 222 scholarships—30 for Bachelor’s degrees, 162 for Master’s degrees, and 30 for Doctoral degrees.

Eligibility Criteria for the KNB Scholarship

For Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

• Maximum age: 21 years.
• Must hold a high school diploma (submit scanned certificate and transcripts in English or Bahasa).
• English proficiency: TOEFL ITP 477, TOEFL IBT 53, IELTS 5.5, or TOEIC 510.
• Recommendation letters: From the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General, and from your employer or immediate supervisor (if employed).
• Submit proof of citizenship (valid passport for at least two years).

For Master’s Degree Applicants:

• Maximum age: 35 years.
• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree (submit scanned certificate and transcripts in English or Bahasa).
• English proficiency: TOEFL ITP 500, TOEFL IBT 61, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC 575.
• Submit recommendation letters: From the Indonesian Embassy/Consulate General, and from your employer or immediate supervisor (if employed).

For Doctoral Degree Applicants:

• Maximum age: 40 years.
• Must hold a Master’s degree (submit scanned certificate and transcripts in English or Bahasa).
• English proficiency: TOEFL ITP 530, TOEFL IBT 71, IELTS 6.0, or TOEIC 640.
• Submit a research proposal and recommendation letter from a potential supervisor at one of the partner universities.
