Swansea University ESPRC Scholarship Details:
The Swansea University EPSRC Scholarship offers a
fully funded PhD opportunity focusing on integrating symbolic computing with
machine learning models to advance Explainable Artificial Intelligence (AI) in
knowledge discovery applications. This research aims to contribute to
cutting-edge developments in AI and data-intensive applications.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants should possess
an undergraduate degree with at least a 2.1 classification in Computer Science,
Mathematics, or a closely related discipline. Alternatively, a relevant
master's degree with a minimum overall grade of 'Merit' (or its non-UK
equivalent) is acceptable.
- Research Interests: A strong background and passion
for Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and Knowledge Discovery
computing are essential.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
academic writing skills are required.
Benefits:
- Financial Support: The scholarship covers the full tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of £19,237 for four years.
