The Swansea University EPSRC Scholarship offers a fully funded PhD opportunity focusing on integrating symbolic computing with machine learning models to advance Explainable Artificial Intelligence (AI) in knowledge discovery applications. Eligibility Criteria:

 

- Academic Qualifications: Applicants should possess an undergraduate degree with at least a 2.1 classification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline. Alternatively, a relevant master's degree with a minimum overall grade of 'Merit' (or its non-UK equivalent) is acceptable.

 

- Research Interests: A strong background and passion for Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, and Knowledge Discovery computing are essential.

 

- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and academic writing skills are required.
