Types of Scholarships

1.     H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Scholarship

• Coverage: 100% waiver of tuition fees, application fees, registration fees, student services fees, and health service fees.

2.     Chairman’s Scholarship

• Coverage: 100% waiver of tuition fees, application fees, registration fees, student services fees, and health service fees.

3.     University Scholarship (UAE & GCC Residents Only)

• Coverage: 10% to 50% waiver on tuition fees for residents of UAE and GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman).

4.     Academic Scholarship

• Coverage: 20% tuition waiver for current Abu Dhabi University students maintaining academic excellence.

5.     Athletic Scholarship

• Coverage: 25% tuition waiver for students excelling in sports activities.

6.     Alumni Scholarship

• Coverage: 20% tuition waiver for Abu Dhabi University alumni pursuing postgraduate studies.

7.     Merit-Based Graduate Scholarship

• Coverage: 25% tuition waiver for postgraduate students with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in their undergraduate studies.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Abu Dhabi University Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

·       For Bachelor’s Degree:

• Must hold a High School Certificate.

·       For Master’s Degree:

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.

·       For PhD Degree:

• Must hold a Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• At least 2 years of full-time work experience is required.

·       General Requirements:

• English language proficiency (IELTS 5.0, TOEFL IBT 61, or ITP 500).
• Must meet the specific eligibility criteria for the chosen scholarship type.

• Completed online application form.
• Certified copies of official degree certificates and transcripts.
• Passport-sized photograph (white background).
